You've probably been to the usenet, and have seen the scanmaster pics. They are extremely high quality scans of naked ladies from Playboy magazine. If you haven't seen these pics, you're missing out big time. If you owned a scanner and a pile of girlie mags, you would not be able to duplicate these scans. Set your monitor resolution to 24 bit color, then scope out this Scanmaster centerfold. you can look all you want, but you won't find any creases. I don't know if the guy used a hot iron on the magazine, or he touched it up digitally. But frankly, I'm not too concerned about it. The point is, these scans are top quality. Playboy magazine became so jealous of this Scanmaster, that they threatened him with lawsuits until he stopped. All that remains is his 1073 scans.

I've collected the entire Scanmaster collection, as well as nine other complete collections of high quality scans onto a single CD. You can see the contents listed below, but if you're not familiar with these labels, here are some more examples: note, all of these scans are from Playboy magazine, so they are all tastefully done. No xxx, no weird stuff. Just naked women.

I'm using ISO 9660 file names. that means it's good for Mac, DOS, or Win95. If you want Joliet naming, tough luck. I'm including a text file that lists the names, file sizes, and women involved. For the Scanbytes, the names have been shortened to an 8.3 format. The text file lists the original names.

You understand that you're not in any way paying for the rights to the images. They are all copyrighted by Playboy magazine. The money you're paying is for raw materials ($8.00), shipping ($2.50 - $5), and my time to put them all on CD (about an hour per). a C.O.D. costs me an extra $3.50, and I don't see the money for a week or two. That's why it costs $10 more than cash up front.
